MINI Cooper stalks its customers
The Mini Cooper has a computer inside it like most cars, and it communicates with Mini, the actual company. How do I know this?
Exhibit A: A friend of mine drives a Mini and got into an accident. A Mini dealership employee got there before the ambulance.
Exhibit B: I got new brakes last week at a random mechanic and just got a letter in the mail from Mini saying “Your Mini can’t talk. But if it could, it would tell you that getting service done at anywhere but Mini of Universal would be an act of pure madness.”
GROSS move, trying to cover up their creepy monitoring with humor. Gross. That’s all I got.
